1. Software virus checking.
2. Principle instruments calibrated or marked as not.
3. All portable equipment is PAT tested,
4. RCD protection used.
5. Following clothing used
a. Safety shoes
b. Reflective jacket.
c. Eye protection.
d. Safety hat if required.
6. Procedure on site visit
a. Report to gatehouse and receive pass
b. Report to site representative, usually electrical engineer.
c. Check site procedures. Request site info sheet, note emergency evacuation procedure, fire exits, fire alarms and extinguishers.
d. Report and sign out when leaving site.
7. Procedure for accepting an order
a. Phone, fax or E-mail from customer. (Normally no order number is requested, but in some circumstances, a pro forma payment is required.)
b. Arrange date for visit, or emergency consultation.
c. Order number required within 3 days.
d. Invoice sent to customer accounts department. Payment under ADS Control System terms. (End of month plus 34 days)
e. Technical report will be issued.
8. A static protection procedure is in place.
